Resident of the Month March 2025

We are excited to celebrate Margaret “Margie” Howell as Traditions’ Resident of the Month. Margie has been a valued member of the Traditions at Beaumont community for nearly a year. 

She was born and raised in the Okolona area of Louisville, KY, where she built a wonderful life surrounded by her four sisters, one brother, her loving husband of over 30 years, two daughters, one son, and several grandchildren.

Before retiring, Margie worked as a tax preparer and bookkeeper, using her skills to help others manage their finances. An interesting fact about her is that she played the cello throughout elementary and high school, although it has been many years since she last played!

In her free time, Margie enjoys reading and watching movies, making the movie theater one of her favorite destinations at Traditions at Beaumont. 

She also loves playing bingo, where she brings her friendly spirit and competitive edge. We are honored to recognize Margie for her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brings to the Beamont community. 

“Margie is a delight to all who encounter her,” said Rebekah Nicholas, Traditions at Beaumont’s Executive Director. “Her joyful spirit brightens our day when we see her enjoying happy hour with friends or welcoming a new resident. Her favorite time of day is getting to use our movie theater - Margie is by far Beaumont’s biggest movie buff!”
